The T.R.U.S.T.™ Standard

Our Independent Auditing & 100-Point Scoring System

To eliminate subjective bias, manufacturer pressure, and superficial star ratings, every appliance and piece of consumer technology reviewed by London Review Lady is evaluated using our proprietary T.R.U.S.T.™ Framework.

Products are scored against a mathematically weighted 100-point audit across five critical pillars:

• T — Thorough Domestic Testing (20 Points) Real-world domestic performance across weeks and months of routine household use, not short-term unboxings.

• R — Resilience & Durability (25 Points) Our highest-weighted pillar. Forensic examination of mechanical stress points, motor strain, gear materials (metal vs plastic), seal degradation, and cable wear.

• U — Uncompromising Usability (20 Points) True domestic friction: real decibel noise in small rooms, cord reach on standard UK counters, ease of disassembly, and deep-cleaning maintenance.

• S — Support, Warranty & Repairability (15 Points) Audit of spare parts pricing and availability, UK manufacturer warranty honouring, right-to-repair access, and long-term support.

• T — True Value & Consumable Integrity (20 Points) Ongoing running costs, proprietary consumable prices (filters, bags, cartridges), and total cost of ownership versus retail price.

OUR OFFICIAL BADGES & BENCHMARKS:

• 80 – 100 Points:

The Iridium Standard (Hall of Trust) Reserved exclusively for benchmark products that demonstrate exceptional engineering, long-term durability, and repairability. These enter the London Review Lady Hall of Trust.

• 70 – 79 Points:

Tested & Verified Dependable, well-built products that deliver reliable performance with minor compromises (e.g. higher consumable costs or slight ergonomic quirks).

• 50 – 69 Points:

Conditional / Flawed Products with noticeable design compromises, durability risks, or questionable value. Strictly conditional advice.

• 0 – 49 Points:

Failed (Avoid) Severe failure modes, fragile builds, misleading marketing, or nonexistent customer support.
